I'm absolutely loving my look, and I know, I say that in every post - but the most important and rewarding relationship you will have in life is the one you have with yourself...and I must admit that Me, Myself and I are having the best menage a trois.

Tonight's the Fort Myers Art Walk downtown and I can't wait to enjoy the free wine and fine art that all of Southwest FL has to offer. This little event is becoming an integral part of my very scarce social calendar. I'm joining uber fab jewelry designer, Erika Pena tonight, and she always brings a good time with her. My how the weeks are flying by! It's already Wednesday and another looming weekend fast approaches. Again, the absolutes in my closet - Black, White, and the Greys bring the most joy to my life and my sartorial choices. I love the mix of polish and grunge with this look, the boots (damn, how I love thee so) really take the look to a completely different place. A fun and french kind of joie de vivre place. Loving my french influences - even if no one else sees them.

I'm looking forward to this weekend - it being Easter and all. My Italian friend's mom is cooking up a glorious feast that I've been invited to. Oh boy, now...what to wear, what to wear...

Back To Basics...

Finally!!!! Found a pair of bleached jeans that I'm completely smitten with. And the best part is, they're one of a kind. Couldn't find a pair that were worth the extra cash so I decided to make my own from a pair of jeans I scored from Gilt last year.

After soaking in my bathroom sink for a week and damn near knocking me on my face from the fumes - NOTE to self, never close the door with bleach sitting for longer than 20 minutes. Washed them twice in hot water then dried them on the highest setting and voila - Tie Dye Denim!

I'm so impressed with my DIY skills! This outfit kind of reminds me of easy Sunday mornings. A basic white tee, the perfect watch, and a pair of amazing denim - all for lounging and feeling completely enamored with Life and all its many luxuries.

Yes, tomorrow is Friday and I can hardly wait. What a week, what a freakin week. Looking forward to celebrating a friend's birthday at one of my favorite sushi places here in Fort Myers - Blu Sushi. Nothing says pure luxury like spicy tuna rolls and lava drops. Yum.

It's the little events like this that make this boring place a little more tolerable. I'm also going to meet with my real estate agent because I'm looking to move into our downtown area in one of the luxury high rises. Fingers crossed I find something by the time I have to renew my current lease - by next Thursday.

Ever since my birthday last week, I've been moving in a new direction. I'm now feeling a sense of focus and determination to be the best that I can at anything I touch. This certainly is the case with my wardrobe. I've completely turned to all black ensembles as not just a sartorial expression of the new me, but as a type of armor if you will.

It's funny, I always thought I would find myself before I turned 24. Sure enough of who I was before I blew out the last birthday candle on that faithful night...but you know what, it's better late than never.

Anyone Have The Time...

I wanted to show you guys this insanely amazing, BEYOND FAB necklace I scored at Chico's. It was only $68 and reflects the growing trend of statement pieces with beads and color that add an extra something to the entire piece. This is very Marni inspired and I'm completely smitten with it. They are truly doing big things over there, the jewelry is completely BANANAS and so affordable.

Wore this to the office on Friday and all of my friends kept saying it looked like I had a ton of watch bands around my neck! Love it! This is truly going to be a go to piece for sure, as the weather continues to rise - there goes my "Summer" knits - I am going to have to find more fun and interesting ways to spruce up the wardrobe.

I do believe I'll be heading back to Chico's soon for a few more pieces...See you there!
